Navadurga Jatra in Bhatkapur - Machamarne ( a Spiritual Game )

Navadurga Jatra in Bhaktapur and Machamarne ( a Spiritual Game )

I spend few days in Nepal and Bhaktapur is one of the best place in my list. Bhaktapur is known as his culture, architect, festivals and People. Bhaktapur has beautiful environment, all people get together each and every evening they talk and make good communication. Festivals are part of hindu's life. No matter where they live, where they are they worship their god and goddess. When i  was there i spend a day in Bhaktapur with my friends. I watched a festival which is called "NavaDurga Jatra".
Goddess Durga has 9 Avatars as we all know.
Sailaputri ( शैलपुत्री ) Brahmacharini ( व्रह्मचारणी ) Candraghaṇṭa ( चन्द्रघण्टा ) Kusamanda ( कुशमाण्डा ) Skandamata ( स्कन्दमाता ) Katyayani ( कात्यायनी ) Kalaratri  ( कालरात्री ) Mahagauri  ( महागौरी  ) Siddhidatri ( सिद्धिदात्री )

In NavaDurga Jatra, all people of Bhaktapur get together and do worship of goddess Durga. It's similar to Navaratri Festival in India. Few Things that i have found new is, they worship the props of Goddess Durga like cloths, Hairs, artworks, and mask. After Preparing all things, they do worship and then they play game which is known as Machamarne or Fishing ( in English )
Newari is community of People in Bhaktapur they have this special spiritual game. Newari People start that game after worshiping.

There are rules in the game. The people who wear mask they are known as Fishers.  They are avatar of Goddess Durga according to the Game. The children who run in the game are called fishes. It's interesting when the game begins. one more rule is Goddes will not capture the girls of women. If fisher or Goddess capture children, they can twist their ears. It's fun to see while when they run on the streets with freedom. If someone elder is caught in the game they have to give some money to fisher.
Rules are interesting and when it begins it seems fun.
All children running throughout the streets, every single person standing on the side of the road. People give respect to their children and society. I want to be the part of that game but children are major part of this game "Machamarne".

After spending a great time with this activity, people get together again and do worship in the evening. Few oldest people in society they do Bhajan and Kirtan every single day in evening. It's magical stuff. If you spend time there nearby the magical chants you are gonna love it. I love the sound when i capture this all events.

You can enjoy the soundtrack and magical game.

In this video, i try to put every single things together in the videos,. so you can learn and earn the knowledge through my videos.
I hope you will like the video and have good time.

Delhi to Nepal Roadways Bus ( Delhi to Bhaktapur )

Delhi to Nepal Roadways Bus ( Delhi to Bhaktapur )

Delhi to Nepal it sounds simple at first sight, all you need to do is pack your bags and make in time. There are many ways to travel Nepal from India. I have decided this time travel with Roadways bus ( Volvo, But it's not that much comfortable, It will give ache and make your journey little uncomfortable )

There are two type of Bus one is from Government Bus ( Competition for Booking ) and other one is Private buses. ( No competition for Booking )
and keep that in Mind don't choose sunday to book that Government Bus. ( Delhi to Kathmandu )

Whenever you book the Ticket you have to go through the process which is compulsory. You need Passport obviously but in Nepal for Indian people there is no restriction to cross border with passport. Passport is not that much necessary, If you have Voter ID card then you are eligible to go Nepal.

We have booked our Tickets 3 days from the Date of Travel. Majnu ka Tilla ( in Delhi ) is the place from where you are gonna start your journey to Nepal.

There was a travel agent Jampa who said "you are gonna have fully entertaining traveling journey through our services, There is Ac on the bus, there is a HDTV, There are comfortable seats, We have best stopping places, Money Exchange Services, and many more.

We were so happy cause we paid him Rs.2300 (INR) and then we left that booking place at Majnu Ka Tilla.

When we came back after 3 days on the day of journey. It was really funny to see the bus condition we laugh like Hell :D
We weren't aware of Traveling side effects on that bus. We started our journey. The conductor played few Nepali Movies. It was Incredible and full movies. If we hadn't watch those movies travel would be difficult.
They played Music, Movies and Shows on the bus.

At India Nepal Border you have to get off from the bus including your bags. The more bags you have the more trouble is gonna occur.
The BSF Army and Nepali Border force is gonna check your all stuff one by one. It took more than two hours at Border.

Then finally we made it to Nepal after 20 Hours. we saw the beautiful mountains, planes and people.

Throughout the night it was cold and dark. We slept plenty of time throughout the travel.
Bus stops at Kathmandu near Syambhu Park.
from there you can book taxi or mini car ( Alto 800 ) which is gonna cost you Rs.1600 ( Kathmandu to Bhaktakapur )

In this video you can only watch the travel journey to Bhaktapur.
In next Video i will show you the Bhaktapur.

We went there to take street Interviews if you are interested in watching that video check it out.

Holi Day - Festival of Colors ( A Day in my Life #4 )

Festival of colors

Holi, a traditional Hindu festival, celebrates the beginning of spring as well as the triumph of good over evil. It is best known around the world for the powder that revellers throw on each other, leaving festival goers coated in colour by the end of the day.

Although the festival originated in India and is still widely celebrated there as a religious festival, it has been adopted in many places around the world.

I Live in New Tehri,Uttarakhand and Celebrating holi on this day was impossible because last day snowfall happened. It was really cold day everyone was expecting clear sky. In the morning on 13 march, 2017 it was a little bit clear sky. Finally we start our day with coloring every single person around us, its fun to celebrate holi.
I hope you will enjoy this video :)

Nepal opinion on Earthquake And Marriage

Finally I am in Nepal to do my 8th Task.
This Task is brought you by Prinlay.com

The Task is about asking question to the local people and specially youngsters. I had very difficulty while taking  their interviews.

In Nepal People are very shy, they said "please we can't speak in front of camera". but finally i got few youngsters who said "Yeah sure, let's do it."

We asked few questions on Earthquake.
What Nepal has learnt after Earthquake?
How we can make perfect plans for Future?

We asked few questions about marriage.
What do you think about Love marriage and Arrange marriage?
which one your preferred and why ?
What do you think about child marriage?

Let's find out together.

Veterans and Veer Nari Welfare ( CCAB Special Performance )

Please turn on the cc or subtitles  ( Eng subs available )

"Veterans and Veer Nari Welfare"
The Garhwal Rifles is one of the most decorated infantry regiments of the Indian Army. It was originally raised in 1887 as the 39th (Garhwal) Regiment of the Bengal Army. It then became part of the British Indian Army, and after the Independence of India, it was incorporated into the Indian Army.

The Kumaon Regiment is one of the most decorated infantry regiments of the Indian Army. The regiment traces its origins to the 18th century and has fought in every major campaign of the British Indian Army and the Indian Army, including the two world wars. Kumaon gets its recruits from Kumaonis of Kumaon division and Ahirs from the plains.

Many soldiers lost their lives while serving the country. Wives  of Veterans are known as "Veer Nari".

on March 1st, 2017
In New Tehri Stadium, first time ever Indian Army setup welfare for Veterans and their families. It was free camp for Everyone.

Central Command was first established in 1942 during World War II and then disbanded in 1946. Southern Command was responsible for most of the training activities for Indian Army until Central Command was formed in April 1942 which took over the responsibility of some of the training areas.

Best thing in that event i found is "Central Command Army Band"
This band has beautiful bagpiper players including drum player, Their skills are amazing. I love the way they play it together and make beautiful cheerful sound. You can enjoy the sound in video.

It was a beautiful Day with best Veterans of our Tehri Garhwal and Kumaun Garhwal.

I hope you will like the video and share it with Love.

Please provide feedback after watching the video.
